General Information: Our low-cost Spay & Neuter Clinic is on Wednesdays. Surgeries are performed by a licensed veterinarian. The appointment must be scheduled in advance. You will drop-off your cat(s) at the clinic between 6:30 & 8 AM. Pick-up is 1:30 OR 3-5 PM of the same day. We recommend that you spay/neuter your cat at 5 months of age and they should weigh at least 4 lbs.

Booking an Appointment: Please call 607-786-7729 & leave a voicemail. You will pay the day of your cat's surgery. There is a missed appointment fee if you do not show up for your appointment. Please allow 24 hours cancellation prior to your appointment. If you need to cancel, please call 607-786-7729.

A rabies vaccination is required by NYS law. If your cat does have a current rabies vaccine, we must have a copy of the rabies certificate at the time you drop-off your cat for surgery. A receipt from your vet will not work, we need an actual certificate. Please contact your vet if you need one. Anything that is not a certificate or an outdated certificate, will be rejected. If you need to send us a rabies certificate, you can email it to info@animalcarecouncil.org. You can also bring the certificate in at the time your cat comes in for surgery.

Additional Items Available for Purchase:

When you pick up your cat from surgery, the following items are available for an additional charge (unfortunately, we only accept cash at time of pick up):

  • a cone collar ($10) *highly recommended*

  • broad-spectrum deworming pill ($10)

  • earmite treatment ($10)

Please note: We do not have a vet on staff, so we don't offer any emergency or regular veterinary care. The only time we offer vaccinations is when you bring your cat in for her/his scheduled spay/neuter appointment. We only do a certain number of surgeries per week, so sometimes we are booking several weeks ahead from the date you make your payment.
